The mage draws attention to a large antique leather bound book on display.  He explains that it once belonged to the 16th century occultist Cornelius Agrippa.  The secrets in the book are so strong that the book is desired by Satan himself.  It is said that the ghost of Agrippa protects the book.  A poem written by Agrippa is read out and during the reading a page of the book turns over all by itself!

This is a very weird and spooky looking effect and is great for a haunted house, and in a séance it is truly chilling!
